There is just something creepy about this administration and a certain religion - James Longstreet

by James Longstreet

We all know the Obama childhood exposure to this religion, the years in Indonesia, his father and all those dreams.  Perhaps this explains the growing list of extraordinary actions and reactions from the President regarding this religion.

There is something creepy, outrĂ©, bizarre, curious about the Obama administration’s reactions to violent Islamic events.  Pseudo intellects will offer that the President is above us all and understands on a different level.  Maybe he doesn’t.

We all know the Obama childhood exposure to this religion, the years in Indonesia, his father and all those dreams.  Perhaps this explains the growing list of extraordinary actions and reactions from the President regarding this religion.

Years ago, Obama misspoke about “my Muslim faith”, a misspeak which most people don’t normally get caught in and on a topic that usually creates little personal confusion.  George Stephanopoulos, quickly corrected him, grabbed the words from mid air, unrang the bell.  But did he?

Obama’s first major speech was off continent in Cairo, Egypt.  It was, in essence, an apology to the Muslim world.

Then there was the out of the ordinary mandate for our NASA program to reach out to Muslim countries

Obama, the self proclaimed student of history, created the glorifying rhetoric of the Muslim Golden Age. A bona fide historian, Victor Davis Hanson noted,
Obama … claimed that "Islam . . . carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment." [In fact] medieval Islamic culture…had little to do with the European rediscovery of classical Greek and Latin values.”
Richard Butrick  (Gatestone Institute) added,
“Hanson has pointed out the factual errors in Obama's paean to Islam's Golden Age. Andrew Bostom has skewered the myth that Cordoba was a model of ecumenism Trikovic has shown that the continuation of learning, science, technology of the "Golden age of Islam" prospered in spite of Islam and not because of Islam and now we have Emmet Scott skewering the myth that the Golden Age of Islam saved Classical humanistic Western culture. What is next? The glory of Sharia?’
Major Nadal Hassan seems to be exempt from the discomforts of an execution date, and his Islamic rants were apparently scrubbed from official investigation documents of his massacre of 14 at Fort Hood. The scrubbing was indeed at someone’s insistence, but why?

The Washington Times reported,
“The White House issued an edict to scrub all law enforcement, intelligence and military teachings on Islam. The FBI ended up discarding pages of information that warned about the threat from the Brotherhood.
Then there were the White House visits by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Michelle Malkin wrote,
“As jihad watchdogs have reported, the administration has rolled out the red carpet for dozens of Muslim Brotherhood officers, flacks and sympathizers. IPT noted last year: “White House visitor logs show that top U.S. policy-makers are soliciting and receiving advice from people who, at best, view the war on terrorism as an unchecked war on Muslims. These persons’ perspectives and preferred policies handcuff law enforcement and weaken our resolve when it comes to confronting terrorism.”
Add in the first ever Muslim prayer service at the National Cathedral.  The Muslim population of the United States is .6%.   (Muslim websites claim 2%)
Estimates vary widely from 2 million to 7 million. What is clear, however, is that the Muslim-American population has been growing rapidly as a result of immigration, a high birth rate, and conversions.”
The Benghazi Attack, and the administration’s orchestrated misdirection away from a proven terrorist attack and toward the idea it was an amped up demonstration from insulted Muslims.  The real devil was revealed as a film maker.  If he had been a cartoonist, he might have drawn some freedom of speech protections, but to jail he went (on other charges).

And of late, Eric Holder who was conveniently in Paris and also of necessary political imagery stature to provide an American contribution to the demonstration against this recent terrorism, tiptoed out the back door.

A unique historical observation from the alleged smartest man in every room: the bizarre comment from Obama in the 2009 Cairo speech in which he declared that "Islam has always been a part of America's history".  Well, beyond the “to the shores of Tripoli” line in the Marine Hymn, a reference to Muslim raiders harassing United States flagged vessels at the turn of the 19th century, we all seem to be at a stretch to come to another “contribution”. Maybe common CORE will offer a history that fills in the blanks.
